A famous American musical group named as Imagination Movers was formed in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 2003. People involved include Rich Collins, Scott Durbin, Dave Poche, and Scott "Smitty" Smith. They all were very good friends and neighbors. The group started performing on Television for the local people off New Orleans. WLAE-TV was the first TV channel to take the initiative to introduce this group and further the group was introduced to Beth Courtney, the President & Chief Executive Officer at Louisiana Public Broadcasting. Soon after, LPB began airing one-minute videos produced by the Imagination Movers themselves.

The group firstly started making educational songs for kids to melodies and rhythms that was liked by the kids and adults both. The group was a hit and they almost sold more than 30,000 copies of their self-produced CDs and DVDs. Their much hit albums were indie CDs: "Good Ideas," "Calling All Movers," and "Eight Feet" along with their very famous DVD "Stir it up". The group won 14 national awards, from such groups as the National Association of Parenting Publications (NAPPA) and Parents' Choice.[2] [3][4]

In 2005, Disney was interested to add the Movers to the company's roll. The deal couldn�t be signed due to the Hurricane Katrina which hit their office badly. The deal was then signed in the spring of 2006. Following in 2008 Walt Disney Records introduced the group nationally for the first time with the CD named �Juice Box Heroes." Then in September 2008, a 30-minute show became on-air featuring the group on the Disney Channel's preschool programming block known as Playhouse Disney. It was a blockbuster and was a real hit.
