    Hello, Dolly is a musical that’s lyrics and music, has been given by Jerry Herman and the book has been authored by Michael Stewart. This book has been based on the adaptation of Thornton Wilder's 1938 farce that had been titled “The Merchant of Yonkers”, had later been revised by Wilder, and had been re titled as “The Matchmaker” in the year 1955. This Broadway production has first been produced by David Merrick in the year 1964 and had managed to bag the Tony Award for being the Best Musical.
