The director will be David Shiner, who is the writer and also the director of the show titled Kooza. But the opening had been delayed owing to the recreation process that had been going on. It had then opened in New York on the 5th of February instead.
Banana Shpeel, now at the Beacon Theater, features the masterful troupe in a new show that's more theatrical than previous incarnations. Ironically, “Banana Shpeel,” the most recent Cirque du Soleil production to arrive in New York, reverts to what nouveau cirque cast aside the variety show.
